Sprinkler Sales Estimator

Job Description

Cannon Fire Sprinkler Contracts Ltd are seeking a Sales Estimator to join a progressive and motivated team In a national role that supports the growth plans of the sprinkler business.

The individual will follow up on leads and opportunities created by the BDM and return detailed tender proposals to the client, deal with all received enquiries and follow through to order placement.

The candidate should have experience in the sprinkler industry and have good understanding of the relevant sprinkler rules and guidance.

 • Estimating/Sales: 5 years (Preferred)
• Sprinkler Industry: 5 years (Required)

Responsibilities & Person Spec.

  • Carry out site surveys
  • To assess and understand scope of works (of all sizes)
  • Cost and valuate contracts
  • Prepare tender documentation and presentations to the customer
  • To attend and manage post tender/handover meetings
  • Maintain a good understanding of industry activity and rates
  • Deliver on key KPI’s and communicate progress internally
Person Specification
  • Excellent IT Skills
  • Experience using online portals for storing and managing account information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in the Sprinkler Industry
  • A Good Understanding of BS EN12845, BS9251 Rules and guidance
  • Experience and knowledge of high and low-pressure water mist systems
  • A good understanding and knowledge of BS EN12845 TB 203
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Experience in commercial/sales and or cost management/budgeting
