Warringtonfire’s FIRAS Scheme
Information about FIRAS & Cannon Fire Sprinklers.
How They Got Started
The FIRAS certification started in 1994, operated by Warringtonfire with began over 50 years ago in 1965. FIRAS is a voluntary third-party certification scheme for installers, to improve the installation and maintenance standards of fire protection products and systems. This certification is awarded to a contracting company no individual employees.
The FIRAS certification is a mark of competence in the fire protection industry, showing that Cannon Fire Sprinklers can meet the exacting standards for the design, installation and maintenance of approved fire systems. As part of this scheme, we are subject to annual audits to ensure that we maintain compliance with the correct nationally recognised standards. Cannon Fire Sprinklers is also now part of the FIRAS Register, demonstrating to our existing and any potential customers that they will always get the best service from our team of knowledgeable and skilled employees delivering the right level of fire protection for their needs.
Warringtonfire’s main purpose is to ensure that anything they inspect and certify is safe and compliant. Their hope is to establish themselves as the most trusted testing partner worldwide, by working within the industry to set new standards, ultimately for the benefit of their customers.
